Much like the recent storm hit the north-west the previous evening, City overwhelmed United aside at the Etihad Stadium. It was a convincing three goal victory for Andrée Jeglertz’s side thanks to goals from Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Hemp. It was a result that firmly established their championship potential as they consolidated their position at the WSL pinnacle.
